ANKARA
The Spokesperson for the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Selcuk Unal, on Monday said that the Turkish Embassy in Kabul and Turkish army posts were not among the target of attacks in Afghanistan on Sunday.
Speaking to the Anadolu Agency (AA), Unal said that "since there was no attack on our embassy or army posts, there has not been any armed retaliation".
"Sunday's attacks took place close to various embassies. Within this frame, security measures have been tightened around the Turkish Embassy in Kabul," Unal underlined.
Armed attacks took place in Afghanistan on Sunday against the national parliament, a hotel, ISAF camp and several diplomatic compounds.
