Saudi Arabia honored 30 companies and executives for advancing job creation and workplace standards at the fourth Labor Award ceremony in Riyadh.

Government officials attended the January event, which spotlighted achievements in Saudization, workplace quality, skills development, and executive leadership.

The Labor Award, established to support Saudi Vision 2030, recognizes companies that implement best practices in workforce integration and workplace improvement.

Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi emphasized the private sector’s role in economic growth and sustainable employment.

He said that this award serves as a catalyst for ongoing development and economic sustainability.

He highlighted that Saudization efforts have raised private sector employment among Saudis from 1.7 million in 2018 to 2.4 million in 2024.

Deputy Minister of Labor Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Abuthnain noted the award’s growing impact, saying participation had surged from 10,000 establishments in 2021 to over 190,000 in 2024.

Awards were presented in four categories, honoring 30 firms and executives for contributions to the Saudi labor market.

Fifteen establishments were awarded for increasing national employment under the Saudization category.

Seven organizations were recognized for fostering inclusive workplaces, including support for employees with disabilities.

Four establishments were honored for workforce skills development through specialized training, while four CEOs received awards for leadership in innovation and organizational performance.
