Syrian Revolution General Commission has said that death toll reached 36 in Syrian army's operations against opponents and clashes during the elections in the country.
Commission said Tuesday that people had protested election of People's Assembly.
Syria, where uprising against the regime has been continuing for 14 months, went to the polls on Monday. Opponents think that election is just a "show". During the election, the security forces of Assad continued its crackdown.
At least 14,400 Syrians have been killed since anti-government protest began in the country.
