Seventy hunger-striking Palestinian prisoners in Israel were rushed to hospitals on Sunday after their health conditions deteriorated.
Israel's Prison Service officials were quoted by Yediot Aharonot newspaper as saying that 100 more Palestinian detainees are still on a hunger strike inside Israeli jails.
A jailed Hamas leader, meanwhile, said that all jailed Hamas members will start an open-ended hunger strike on Monday.
Around 170 Palestinian administrative detainees have been on a hunger strike for 39 days now in protest at their detention without trial.
Administrative detention orders can range from one to six months in length and can be extended by up to five years by Israeli military courts.
Around 5271 Palestinians, including 191 administrative detainees, languish in Israeli jails, according to NGO Palestinian Prisoner's Club.
