Turkish Embassy in Bahrain announces bus services to Riyadh amid Bahraini airspace closure
Turkish citizens who want to cross from Bahrain to Saudi Arabia must register through the embassy link
ISTANBUL
The Turkish Embassy in Manama on Friday announced it will be organizing bus services between Manama and Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, for Turkish citizens who wish to leave Bahrain due to Iran’s retaliation against US-Israeli attacks and the closure of Bahraini airspace.
Turkish citizens who want to travel by land from Bahrain to Saudi Arabia will be transported to Riyadh Airport by buses arranged by the embassy in light of developments in the region, said a statement issued by the embassy.
The bus journey is expected to take approximately six to seven hours, and citizens wishing to travel are required to obtain Saudi Arabian visas online before the trip, in accordance with current regulations.
Turkish citizens who want to cross from Bahrain to Saudi Arabia must register through a link provided by the embassy.
Those who register will receive additional information regarding the buses via their email address provided during registration.
The statement also advised citizens to be prepared for possible disruptions during the journey and recommended that they regularly follow the embassy’s social media accounts for updates, as conditions on the ground may change at any moment.
