The daily reminded the sympathy rally in Austria's capital Vienna held Sunday by more than 10 thousand people to support Erdogan in Gezi Park protests. Referring his speech in Erzurum on Sunday, daily SABAH quoted Erdogan as saying "Those who claim to be socialists are now relaxing in their yachts. If you are looking for social justice, you can find it in AK Party." Daily ZAMAN quoted the prime minister as saying "The solution process does not mean 'giving in', it is a struggle for democracy."

Almost all of the dailies also covered Turkish mountaineer's terror attack survival in northern Pakistan. "Turkish mountaineer barely survived" headlined daily HABER TURK referring to the terrorist attack in northern Pakistan killing 5 Ukrainian, 3 Chinese and 1 Russian tourists. Turkish mountaineer Tunc Findik survived the attack as he was in another camp to to become acclimatized to the atmospheric pressure. Daily SABAH said the bloody attack took place in Nanga Parbat, the highest mountain in Pakistan. "We were in the same team with 4 Chinese mountaineers who were killed in the attack. "Greek tragedy" titled daily STAR saying some families in the neigbouring country Greece have to leave their children to homes for orphans as they can not afford to take care of them.
