
ANKARA (AA) - March 26, 2013 - Tarhan Telli, a Turkish motorcycle designer, has applied to Guinness Book of Records with a motorcyle he manufactured of gold.
Telli said that it had taken more than one year to manufacture the golden motorcyle and he was hopeful to be accepted to Guinness as "the most expensive motorcyle of the world".
The golden motorcyle is 315 kilograms in weight, by volume of engine 1801 cc, and has 125 horsepower. Chassis and body shell of the motorcyle, which has 6 forward gearboxes, are made of white and yellow gold lieves. The relief of mythological hero Medusa is placed on its fuel tank, while there are snake figures on its chassis and fender.
