ANKARA
Team USA beat Czech Republic 119 - 84 in men's basketball preliminary round Group A match at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics on Saturday.
Jayson Tatum and Kevin Durant led the US to victory with 27 and 23 points respectively at the Saitama Super Arena.
Durant surpassed Carmelo Anthony to become the US' all-time leading scorer
Blake Schilb's 17 points were not enough for Czech Republic's victory.
France lead preliminary round Group A with six points, while the US are second with five points and Czech Republic third with four points.
Quarterfinal matches in men's basketball will be held on Aug. 3.
