Football: Juventus' Turkish defender ready to return

ANKARA

Juventus' Turkish defender Merih Demiral said Tuesday he is ready to return after rehabilitating from a five-month knee injury.

''I feel very good now and I will join the team very soon," he said on the Champions League's Twitter account.

Demiral sustained a left knee injury during a Serie A match against Roma in January.

The 22-year-old defender started individual trainings in May after he underwent surgery in Austria for "reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament and suture of the lateral meniscus."
