Denmark is forced to select mainly a second-string lineup against Wales in a UEFA Nations League's match on Sunday after negotiations with national team's aces over contracts broke down.

Danish national football players have left the training camp after contract talks reached a deadlock over commercial rights of players such as making individual sponsorship agreements and traveling conditions.

The Danish Football Association rejected Sunday an offer by the players' union to play the two fixtures under the terms of their existing contracts to deal with the dispute after the games.

Denmark will play against Slovakia on September 5 and against Wales on September 9.
