Here’s a rundown of all the news you need to start your Wednesday, including Israel's deadly attacks on Gaza, Israeli aircraft striking southern Syrian governorate of Suwayda, and Turkish President Erdogan stating July 15 defeated coup attempt as one of most ‘critical turning points’ in country's history.

- Israeli attacks kill 51 Palestinians, injure many in war-torn Gaza
At least 51 Palestinians were killed and several others injured Tuesday in new Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip, medical sources said.
Two Palestinians were shot dead and dozens injured by Israeli forces near a distribution center northwest of Rafah in southern Gaza.
In northern Gaza, six people, including a woman and a child, were killed when an Israeli helicopter bombed two apartments in western Gaza City.
An Israeli drone strike on the Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City killed 11 Palestinians, including five children, and injured 20 others.
- Israeli aircraft strikes southern Syrian governorate of Suwayda
An Israeli aircraft attacked the Druze-majority governorate of Suwayda in southern Syria on Tuesday.
“Israeli occupation aircraft targets the city of Suwayda,” the state-run news agency SANA reported.
Meanwhile, the army launched an attack on a Syrian tank after it entered Suwayda city, Israeli Army Radio reported.
On Monday, more than 30 people were killed and nearly 100 others injured in clashes between armed Bedouin tribal fighters and Druze militias in Suwayda, the Syrian Interior Ministry said.

The July 15, 2016 defeated coup attempt marked one of the most critical turning points in Türkiye’s history, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Tuesday.
Speaking at the commemoration ceremony for July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day at the Grand National Assembly in Ankara, Erdogan said the coup attempt was a tough test that the state and the nation overcame with pride.
“On the night of the July 15, 2016 coup attempt, the truth that Türkiye is greater than just Türkiye was once again clearly, very strongly understood,” he said.
The defeated coup attempt, in which 252 people were killed and 2,734 were wounded, was plotted and carried out by the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO).

- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi urged Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states to strengthen mutual trust, equality and win-win cooperation in the face of growing global challenges, the Foreign Ministry said Wednesday.

- Prices hike more than expected in US in June
The consumer price index in the US exceeded expectations in June, according to official figures released on Tuesday.
The country's annual inflation rate was 2.7%, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, surpassing market expectations of 2.6%.
While the food index posted an increase of 3% in June, the energy index declined 0.8% in June on a yearly basis.
- Nvidia to resume H20 AI chip deliveries to China
Nvidia said Tuesday that it will resume sales of its H20 artificial intelligence (AI) chips to China after the US government pledged to remove licensing restrictions.
"The U.S. government has assured NVIDIA that licenses will be granted, and NVIDIA hopes to start deliveries soon. Finally, (CEO Jensen) Huang announced a new, fully compliant NVIDIA RTX PRO GPU that 'is ideal for digital twin AI for smart factories and logistics,'" the company said in a statement.
In April, Washington restricted Nvidia from selling its H20 chips to China in an escalation of its tech war with Beijing, saying it would be required to have an export license "for the indefinite future" to sell the chips to the country.
