Brazilian football legend Pele was hospitalized on Wednesday due to a stomachache.
According to news in the Brazilian press on Wednesday, 74-year old Pele was admitted to Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo because of a stomachache, but he is not thought to be seriously ill.
Meanwhile, Santos municipality stated that an event in which Pele was expected to take part has been delayed until a further date.
The former Brazil international underwent a hip operation at the same hospital two years ago.
Pele is widely regarded as one of the best footballers of all time and won three World Cup titles with Brazil.
