Voting begins on Thursday in the U.K. elections as the major parties remain neck-and-neck in the polls.
Voting began officially in Wales at 06:00 GMT.
The total number of parliamentary seats being contested are 533 constituencies in England, 59 in Scotland, 40 in Wales and 18 in Northern Ireland.
Electoral turnout is expected to be relatively high on Thursday, given that the major parties are neck-and-neck in the polls.
Last year 65 percent of voters took part in the election.
A hung parliament predicted, as occured in the previous is expected, with the final Guardian/ICM poll on Wednesday evening putting Labour and the Conservatives at 35 percent each.
After the 2010 election, a coalition government was formed from the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats.
According to polls Ukip is at 11 percent, and the Liberal Democrats have 9 percent. The SNP has 5 percent (over the entire U.K.), and the Greens finish at 3 percent.
Each major party is forecast to take 273 seats according to the current polls.
