ISTANBUL
Two drones fell inside an oil field in southern Iraq, according to Iraqi media reports Friday.
The reports said the drones fell inside the Majnoon oil field in the southern province of Basra.
No material damage or casualties were recorded.
Regional tensions have intensified since Israel and the US launched a joint attack on Iran on Feb. 28 that has killed 1,300 people and injured over 10,000 others so far, according to Iranian authorities.
Iran retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Iraq and Gulf countries that are home to US military assets.
