ISTANBUL

Israeli artillery shelling targeted a headquarters of UN peacekeepers in southern Lebanon on Sunday, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA).

The agency said the headquarters of the Indonesian contingent serving with the UN force in the town of Adshit al-Qusayr in Marjayoun district was struck.

Candice Ardiel, a spokesperson for the UN force, said a projectile exploded overnight at a UN position near Adshit al-Qusayr, injuring several peacekeepers.
