Strikes hit Nojeh airbase in Hamadan, western Iran

Israeli airstrikes targeted Iran’s Nojeh airbase, located near the city of Hamadan, twice within the span of an hour on Friday, Fars news agency reported.
Details on casualties and material damage were not immediately available.
Earlier, the news agency said at least 78 people were killed and 329 others injured in a series of Israeli airstrikes that on Tehran earlier in the day.
Israel launched a large-scale attack on Iran earlier in the day, targeting the country's nuclear and military facilities. Several senior Iranian military officials and nuclear scientists were also killed in the strikes.
Iran has vowed "severe punishment," and called for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council.
