The Israeli army killed 33 more civilians and injured many others in attacks across the Gaza Strip on Monday, according to medics and local sources.

Medical sources told Anadolu that civil defense teams retrieved the bodies of 10 people from the rubble after Israeli attacks on Al-Nasr Street in Gaza City.

Four people were killed in an Israeli strike on a tent sheltering displaced families in western Gaza City.

The Israeli army also shelled the Zeitoun neighborhood in the same city, killing five people and injuring several family members. Four more Palestinians lost their lives in airstrikes in the same city.

One person was also killed and several others were injured in Israeli shelling in the city’s Al-Sabra neighborhood.

Israeli quadcopter drones dropped bombs on homes and residential buildings in the Al-Sabra and Al-Rimal neighborhoods in Gaza City, but no information was yet available about casualties.

The army targeted the vicinity of Al-Shifa Medical Complex in the same city, blocking access to the hospital as part of efforts to besiege the area and force residents to flee southward, the state news agency Wafa reported.

Witnesses said several high-rise residential buildings were struck in Gaza City, forcing hundreds of families to flee.

Israeli forces also continued to carry out detonations by booby-trapped vehicles in the Shati refugee camp, where dozens of civilians lost their lives due to ongoing aerial and ground offensives targeting the camp for days, under a plan to fully occupy the city.

In the central Gaza Strip, one person was killed and nine others were injured when the Israeli army shelled a tent sheltering displaced Palestinians north of the Nuseirat refugee camp, Wafa said.

A family house was struck in the same camp, resulting in the death of two people. One more civilian was killed in an airstrike in the western part of the camp.

Another Palestinian was killed in an Israeli airstrike in central Gaza.

Four more Palestinians were killed, and several people were injured when the Israeli army struck people gathered to collect aid in Rafah, southern Gaza.

The Israeli army has killed over 66,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children, in Gaza since October 2023. The relentless bombardment has rendered the enclave uninhabitable and led to starvation and the spread of diseases.
