ANKARA

Engineering firm DEICO has become the first company from Türkiye to join the PXI System Alliance, one of the world’s most prestigious international organizations in electronic test and measurement.

By joining the consortium, DEICO will develop modules based on the PCI extensions for Instrumentation (PXI) standard, marking a significant step for Türkiye’s test and measurement sector in the defense industry.

DEICO provides innovative solutions for defense, aviation, and other high-tech fields. The PXI-based test systems play a critical role in advanced defense and aviation platforms. With this milestone, DEICO aims to reduce reliance on foreign suppliers and make cutting-edge testing processes more accessible.

The membership also positions Türkiye to contribute to setting international standards while competing on a global scale.

DEICO plans to unveil its PXI-compliant chassis and modules for the first time at the International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2025) set to be held in Istanbul on July 22-27.

National test systems minimize foreign dependence in the design, production, and verification of defense equipment, increasing the reliability of critical technologies.

While foreign systems used in national defense solutions can pose security risks and are often costly, domestic systems support economic sustainability, provide long-term cost advantages, and strengthen Türkiye’s autonomy in defense capabilities.
