TEHRAN
One person was killed on Thursday morning after a 5.5 magnitude earthquake hit the Iranian town of Bastak.
The quake which hit Bastak, located 1,200 kilometers (745 miles) south of capital Tehran, also wounded at least 30 people.
Buildings were damaged in the quake, while search and rescue teams were sent to the scene.
