Ten Kuwaiti soldiers were injured during a new wave of attacks in the last 24 hours, with the wounded receiving medical treatment, the Kuwaiti army said Sunday.

The armed forces detected 14 ballistic missiles and 12 drones, some of which targeted a military camp and caused the injuries, the army said on the US social media platform X.

Logistics warehouses were also targeted, resulting only in material damage without any casualties, it added.

The new wave of attacks brought the total number since Feb. 28 -- the start of the current Mideast war -- to 307 ballistic missiles, 616 drones, and two cruise missiles detected, the army added, expressing its commitment to safeguarding Kuwait and maintaining its stability and security.

The region has been on alert since the US and Israel launched an air offensive on Iran on Feb. 28, so far killing over 1,340 people, including then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Iran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, along with Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets, causing casualties and damage to infrastructure while disrupting global markets and aviation.
