Israeli army claims targeting Iranian government sites
By Faruk Hanedar
JERUSALEM (AA) – The Israeli army said on Saturday that it launched a new wave of attacks on Iran’s capital Tehran as part of joint operations with the US.
The army claimed in a statement that sites linked to the Iranian administration across the city were targeted.
No details were provided regarding the locations of the strikes.
There has been no confirmation from the Iranian side about a new attack.
For nearly a month, the US and Israel have carried out an air offensive on Iran, killing more than 1,340 people, including then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Iran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, as well as Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets, causing casualties and damaging infrastructure while disrupting global markets and aviation.
