The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 4,200 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. (1500 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,900 liras at 11 p.m. (2000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Saturday’s electricity market showed a decrease of 12.46% to 1.61 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 3,376.65 liras and 3,388.09 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set as 4,200 Turkish liras at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., and between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. (0600, 0700 and 1400-1800 GMT) while the lowest rate was determined at 2,050.01 liras at 7 a.m. (0400 GMT), according to official figures.
