The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 4,500 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600, 1700 GMT), according to official figures released Wednesday.
The lowest rate is set at 189,99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Thursday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 147.5% to around 908.69 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,608.05 liras and 1,868.84 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,750 liras at 9 p.m. local time (1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 170,01 liras at 12 a.m. and 1 p.m. local time (0900, 1000 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 44.52 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Wednesday.
