Russia, Mexico discuss ways to expand cooperation on margins of BRICS summit
Moscow's Foreign Minister Lavrov, his Mexican counterpart de la Fuente Ramirez exchanged views on key international developments

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with his Mexican counterpart J.R. de la Fuente Ramirez and discussed ways to expand bilateral cooperation between their countries, a Russian Foreign Ministry statement said Monday.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 17th BRICS summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Sunday.
The two ministers discussed current issues in Russian-Mexican relations and ways to deepen political dialogue and expand cooperation in trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres, the ministry added.
They also addressed steps to enhance the bilateral legal framework.
Lavrov and de la Fuente Ramirez also exchanged views on key international developments.
