TURKEY WINS 15 MEDALS IN WEIGHLIFTING IN MEDITERRANEAN GAMES
PESCARA - Turkey won 15 medals in weightlifting event in the Mediterranean Games.
Eleven Turkish weightlifter participated in the ongoing 16th
Mediterranean Games, and ten of them gained medals at the end of the
weightlifting event.
Turkey won six gold, five silver and four bronze medals in weightlifting category of the Mediterranean Games in Pescara, Italy.

Nurcan Taylan: 2 gold medals
Emine Bilgin : 1 bronze medal
58 Kg:
Aylin Dasdelen: 1 gold medal, 1 bronze medal
63 Kg:
Sibel Simsek: 2 silver medals
MEN:
56 Kg:
Sedat Artuc: 1 silver medal
Gokhan Kilic: 1 bronze medal
62 Kg:
Erol Bilgin: 2 gold medals
77 Kg:
Semih Yagci: 1 gold medal
85 Kg:
Izzet Ince: 1 gold medal
105 Kg:
Bunyamin Sudas: 2 silver medals
The 16th edition of the Mediterranean Games began in Pescara, Italy on June 25 with participation of 23 countries, and will end on July 5.
