The US Border Patrol was involved in a shooting in the state of Arizona on Tuesday, according to Pima County Sheriff’s Department.
An individual was shot near milepost 15 on West Arivaca Road in southern Pima County at around 7.30 a.m. local time (1430GMT), a spokesperson said.
One individual remains in critical condition after being shot during the incident, according to a sheriff’s department spokesperson.
Details surrounding the shooting remain unclear, and authorities have not released the identity of the individual who was shot.
