ANKARA
A small plane crashed in the southern Brazilian city of Gramado, killing 10 members of the same family and injuring 17 people on the ground, officials said on Sunday.
Brazil’s Civil Defense Unit said on X that the plane, owned by businessman Luiz Claudio Galeazzi, struck a building chimney shortly after takeoff for reasons yet to be determined, causing an explosion.

All 10 people aboard, including Galeazzi, who was piloting the plane, his wife, daughters, and other family members, were killed in the crash.
Among the 17 injured on the ground, two remain in critical condition.
The tragic accident sparked widespread attention on social media, with users sharing footage of the crash and images of the wreckage.
