Thames Valley Police confirm searches at property would continue until Monday
LONDON
Police officers are searching former Prince Andrew's former home, Royal Lodge, in Windsor, a town west of London, for the third day.
Thames Valley Police confirmed on Saturday that the searches at the property would continue until Monday.
Pictures showed a convoy of police officers traveling to Royal Lodge, located a few miles from Windsor Castle.
The former prince was arrested on Thursday. Thames Valley Police later released a statement saying it had "arrested a man in his sixties from Norfolk on suspicion of misconduct in public office."
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was released from Aylsham Police Station after 11 hours of questioning.
He has always vigorously denied any wrongdoing with regard to convicted US pedophile Jeffrey Epstein's crimes.
The government is reportedly considering removing the former prince from the royal line of succession.
