Here’s a rundown of all the news you need to start your Monday, including a group of senior European leaders and the head of NATO announcing they will join talks between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Washington; the US special envoy saying Russia agreed to “some concessions” on Ukraine, including security guarantees, and Bolivia's presidential race heading to a runoff between centrist and right-wing candidates.

  • Key EU leaders, NATO chief to join Trump-Zelenskyy talks in Washington

A group of senior European leaders and the head of NATO will travel to Washington on Monday to join talks on Ukraine with US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte are set to attend the meeting.

  • Russia agreed to 'some concessions' on Ukraine, including security guarantees, says US special envoy

Russia made concessions on all five unilaterally annexed Ukrainian regions during Friday's Alaska summit, while the US is potentially prepared to offer direct security guarantees to Ukraine, said US Special Presidential Envoy for Peace Missions Steve Witkoff.

"There are five regions here. It's always, in our view, been the crux of the deal," Witkoff told CNN, referring to Crimea, Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia.

"The Russians made some concessions at the table with regard to all five of those regions," he said.

  • Bolivia's presidential race heads to runoff between centrist, right-wing candidates

Bolivia is heading for a runoff presidential election with centrist Senator Rodrigo Paz and right-wing former President Jorge "Tuto" Quiroga set to face each other following a result that surprised pre-vote polls.

With 90% of the ballots from Sunday's vote tallied, the National Electoral Council (CNE) announced that Paz had secured 31% of the vote while Quiroga came in second with 27%.

  • Türkiye's Antalya Airport breaks all-time daily passenger record

The airport in Antalya, Türkiye's Mediterranean coastal city, has set a new all-time passenger record, according to the country's transport and infrastructure minister.

"We hosted 230,002 passengers in a single day. Our tourism capital, Antalya, continues to break records thanks to our strong transportation infrastructure," Abdulkadir Uraloglu wrote on the Turkish social media platform Next Sosyal.
