HATAY/GAZİANTEP
Members of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) visited on Thursday Syrians staying in a tent-site in the Turkish southern province of Hatay.
Four members of humanitarian affairs departments of the organization visited a tent-site in Hatay's Yayladagi town, established by the Turkish Red Crescent.
Senior German diplomat visits Syrians staying in Turkish tent-site
The senior German diplomat in Turkey also visited Syrians who have fled massacre in their country and taken shelter in Turkey, in a tent-site in the southeastern province of Gaziantep.
German Ambassador to Turkey Eberhard Pohl visited a Syrian camp in Gaziantep's Islahiye town, where 5,661 Syrians are staying.
Pohl chatted with the Syrians, and received information from Turkish executives.
The number of Syrians who are staying in Turkey after fleeing violence in their country was 23,558 on Thursday.
