BEIRUT (AA) - One person was killed on Tuesday after a clash between Syrian President Bashar al-Assad supporters and opponents in the southern city of Sidon of Lebanon.
The clash erupted after gunmen of the Hezbollah-linked Resistance Brigade, staged an an attack on the car of the brother of Sheik Ahmad al-Assir, an outspoken Assad and Hezbollah opponent, witnesses said.
Clashes continued in the region with gunmen still patrolling streets despite increased security measures taken by the army forces.
