BEIJING
The spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Liu Veymin, on Thursday said that China "seriously thought about sending an observer to Syria to join the UN delegation of observers".
Veymin gave no details on China's observer.
Also speaking on Sudan's declaration of South Sudan as "an enemy", Veymin said that China called on the sides to end clashes and respect each other's independence.
