The Anadolu Agency provided live footage of the Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip where the death toll has risen to 98, including many children, the agency said Thursday.
The agency has broadcasted live coverage of the hot developments to its subscribers with its cameras placed at various points in Gaza, Palestine.
The broadcast was sent to the newsrooms of subscribing networks through Anadolu Agency's (AA) Global TV platform, as well as on AA's website, www.aa.com.tr.
AA subscribers have been able to transfer the live stream directly to their screens.
At least 98 Palestinians – many of them women and children – have been killed and over 530 injured in a wide-scale Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip that began late Monday night, according to official reports by the Palestinian Health Ministry.
The stated aim of Israel's military offensive – dubbed "Operation Protective Edge" – is to resist fire emanating from Gaza.
Israel continued to pound the Gaza Strip with airstrikes on Thursday, while Israeli ground troops remain massed on the strip's borders in advance of a possible ground assault.
Gaza-based resistance factions, meanwhile, have continued to fire rockets into Israel in response to the unrelenting airstrikes.
