Türkiye's foreign minister discusses regional security with counterparts

ISTANBUL

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan discussed the recent developments and the security situation in the region with his counterparts in several countries during separate phone calls on Wednesday, Foreign Ministry sources said.

Fidan spoke with the foreign ministers of Kuwait, Jordan, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia over the phone to discuss recent developments, the sources said.

Later, Fidan also held phone calls with his Egyptian, Indonesian, Pakistani, and Canadian counterparts, discussing comprehensive evaluations of recent developments in the region and the current security situation, the same sources noted.
