Türkiye is the guarantor of the security, peace, and well-being of Kurds, like all brotherly peoples in Syria, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Tuesday.

“Those who turn to Ankara and Damascus will prevail,” Erdogan said during his speech at the 954th anniversary commemoration of the Manzikert victory in Türkiye’s Mus province.

Terror-free Türkiye

Erdogan underlined that the vision of the Century of Türkiye will first turn into a great and powerful terror-free Türkiye, then into a terror-free region, through collective efforts, united in heart.

He said that despite all obstacles, blockades, and sabotage, Ankara is truly striving for a great and powerful Türkiye, and the country, united as 86 million people, constitutes a great family and members of the same nation brought together by history, culture, a shared civilization, and common beliefs.

“As Turks, Arabs, and Kurds, we will live side by side together in this land until the end of time,” Erdogan emphasized.

Underlining that Türkiye has become a state that represents hope not only for its own citizens but also for the oppressed across the world, he said the nation remains a safe haven for “our brothers beyond our borders when they face hardship."

“We support the establishment of lasting peace across our region. We advocate resolving issues through dialogue and diplomacy,” he reaffirmed.

Gaza

The Turkish president also reiterated Ankara’s support for the Palestinian cause on all platforms, saying: “We never leave our Gazan brothers alone against Israel’s heinous oppression."

“Through letter diplomacy, phone calls, international meetings, and aid exceeding 102,000 tons, we are defending Gaza’s rights and justice in the strongest possible way,” he said.

"Regardless of what others say, we are taking the stance that befits us and our nation, without bowing, bending, or fearing anyone," he added.
