Huseyin Capkin, head of Istanbul Security Department, said that US citizen Sarai Sierra died of a head trauma.
Capkin told reporters on Sunday that the report of Forensics Department was not ready yet, but it was certain that Sierra was killed by a blow in the head.
Capkin denied the claims that Sierra was an agent or a courier.
33 year-old Sierra has been missing since January 21, and her body was discovered in Istanbul's Fatih district near the remains of ancient city walls in Sarayburnu on Saturday.

Police questioning 11 people about death of US woman in Turkey

On the other hand, police is questioning 11 people after Sierra was found dead in Istanbul.
