BAGHDAD
Death toll increased to 33 following the bomb attack in Kirkuk city in the north of Iraq on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the number of injured people increased from 70 to 90.
Earlier in the day, a truck full of bombs exploded in front of Kirkuk Telecom Directorate which was 10 meters away from Kirkuk Security Department. Also, three suicide bombers, who were trying to enter Security Department building just after the explosion, were killed by security forces.
Kosret Hasan Kerim from Security Department told AA that one person was now under interrogation in connection with the attack.
Turkish Foreign Ministry condemned the bomb attack
Turkish Foreign Ministry expressed sorrow over death of people during the attack staged near Kirkuk Security Department building.
The ministry offered condolences to the relatives of victims, and wished speed recovery for wounded ones.
Turkey is ready to help friendly and neighborly country Iraq, said the ministry, adding that Turkey would be in full solidarity with Iraq in fight against terrorism.
