Turkish police confiscated 130 kilograms of heroin in Istanbul in an operation against illicit drug traffickers on Wednesday.
Narcotic teams staged an operation against an illicit drug trafficker gang at the end of their two-month pursuit which showed that the gang was trafficking illicit drugs from Iran to European countries.
Police impounded 130 kilograms of heroin stashed in car accumulators in Istanbul, and detained six people in connection with the haul.
Later, an Istanbul court sent the detainees to prison.
