HAGUE (AA) - The members of Turkish Parliamentary Commission on Human Rights on Wednesday met with the representatives of victim Turkish families and nongovernmental organizations in Holland.
The commission members will make a study on the issue in Dutch prisons, discrimination and especially issue of foster families.
Chairman of the Commission Ayhan Sefer Ustun said that they will visit two different prisons in Rotterdam due to complaints of Turkish people, who are in the prisons because of various reasons.
"We would like to make contribution to the solution of the issue for the children who were taken from their families," said Ustun.
-Racism is a near danger in Europe-
Ustun pointed out that racism was a near danger in Europe, adding, "Racism spread out all over Europe; furthermore, our citizens are confronted with some discriminatory behavior in the daily life. In our 2012 report, 13 cases, for which time, related person, victim became obvious, reverted to us. We will also state the case, which reverted to us in 2013."
Ustun also stressed that they did not aim to intervene in the internal affairs of Holland, saying, "We just would like to make contribution to the solution of the issues."
