Beko, one of Turkey’s major household appliance manufacturer, signed a four-year sponsorship agreement with Barcelona FC on Monday, becoming the third largest sponsor after Nike and Qatar Airways.
The agreement was unveiled at a press conference held in Barcelona’s famous stadium, Nou Camp, with President of Koc Holding, Mustafa Koc along with officials from the company, in which Beko operates as a subsidiary, and President of Barcelona, Josep Maria Bartomeu.
As per the sponsorship agreement, Barcelona’s football and basketball teams will bear the “Beko” logo in their shirt’s arms and on the club’s practice t-shirts.
The agreement will come into force starting from 1 July and will last for four years. The sponsorship amount will be kept confidential by mutual assent.
