Turkish President Abdullah Gul criticized occidental politicians for their "cheap politics" conception.
President Gul shared his leadership experiences with students of Faculty of Management at Standford University in northern California.
Gul said that European leaders complied with extremist groups and they became introvert cause of deepening economic crisis, rather than searching new ways.
Gul said, "of course the period of change has been painful but the reason has been important. Turkey has a great amount of contribution to this area".
During the politics' change, some economies have been in difficulties. Turkey will get rid of these thanks to its powerful economy" Gul replied to the question of "how Turkey promoted "peace process" in the Middle East".
President Abdullah Gul visited the globally known Stanford University at the second day of his California visit.
Gul met with executives of Apple later on Wednesday in a meeting closed to the press.
