ANKARA
PKK head terrorist Abdullah Ocalan has said he was determined to take the next step in the solution process that aimed to resolve Turkey's long-standing Kurdish problem.
Ocalan's messages were shared in a writtten statement issued by Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) whose deputies traveled to Imralı Island to meet with the PKK head terrorist as part of the talks.
Ocalan said: "I personally believe that each stage of the process should be carried out transparently. I hope the state would evaluate these recommendations related to the second stage of the process accurately and reach the correct conclusion. It is a centennial issue. Everyone should take the issue earnestly. I am determined to improve the process despite the obstruction of some powers."
Turkish state authorities have been holding talks with BDP MPs since last October with the aim of achieving a timetable for the disarmament of PKK terrorists.
