CAIRO
National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces (SNC) has said they would urge the countries at Geneva Conference II to negotiate trial of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and all other forces who fought against the Syrian people provided that they attended the conference.
Regarding Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallim's remarks, the SNC said in a written statement, "We are ready for a political solution which promises to end bloodshed in the country, meet demands in the struggle for freedom and honor and a democratic and civil government."
Muallim had said the Syrian government would attend Geneva II, claiming that the Syrian Army had defended Jordan, Lebanon and all other neighboring countries fighting terror.
