ISTANBUL
Turkey's north-western province of Istanbul will host the 40th World Chess Olympics between August 27 and September 10.
In a statement released Tuesday, the Turkish Chess Federation said that they would hold a press conference on Thursday to introduce the olympics.
Chess players from 200 countries will compete in the olympics.
