EP will discuss the recent events in Turkey under the chairmanship of Vice-president and High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton on June 12.
A resolution will be voted on June 13, Thursday, said a statement released by the parliament's official website.
In Thursday's parliamentary session, EU lawmakers criticized Ashton for her "delayed reaction" to the events.
Parliamentarians also stressed that respect for fundamental rights and freedoms, including freedom of speech, freedom of the media and the right to protest, that were core EU values had to be upheld in Turkey.
