TASHKENT
AA correspondent Bahtiyar Abdukerimov has been awarded with the 7th Golden Pen Award in Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan, on Thursday.
The Golden Pen Award in Tashkent is an annual international competition for the National Prize in the field of journalism.
AA correspondent Abdukerimov said that he was happy to be decorated with the award in 2012.
In the beginning of April, AA announced its "Centennial Vision".
Abdukerimov stated that he was taking the award on behalf of all AA staff members.
