Volleyball: Turkey beaten by Belgium in Nations League

ANKARA 

Turkey's national women volleyball team lost against Belgium 3-1 in Tuesday's FIVB Volleyball Nations League match.

In the first game of the week 5, Turkey led the first set 27-25 in the capital Ankara.

However, visiting team Belgium made a comeback to earn the victory, winning the rest of the three sets 26-24, 25-21 and 25-23.

In the second game of the week 5, Turkey will face Italy on Wednesday.

Turkey has 10 wins and three losses in 13 matches in the Nations League.

Turkish team scored 29 points and is currently at the fifth spot in standings led by South American volleyball powerhouse Brazil with 31 points.
