MERSIN (AA) - Turkish national basketball team on Friday defeated Macedonia 77-57 in 17th Mediterranean Games and made to semi-finals in the games.
Turkey previously defeated Algeria in the first match 97-68, and they toppled Egypt 77-57 in Group A.
Turkey completed the group stage as the leader with no defeats, and was followed by Macedonia at the second place, Egypt at the third and Algeria at the fourth place.
Also, Serbia defeated Tunisia 80-73 in Group B to win the first place and was followed by Tunisia at the second place and Italy at the third place.
Turkey will play against Tunisia in a semi-final game at 7:30 p.m. and Serbia will play with Macedonia at 5:30 p.m in the semi-final on June 22, Saturday.
