English Premier League team Chelsea announced that they reached an agreement with 2014 Spanish champions Atletico Madrid to complete the transfer of Spanish forward Diego Costa on Tuesday, according to a written statement on the London club's website.
While there has not been any statement concerning the transfer fee for the 25-year-old forward, British press claim that Chelsea paid 40 million euros to sign Diego Costa.
The Spanish international scored 36 goals in 52 matches for Atletico Madrid last season.
