NBA: Lillard scores 61 as Blazers beat Warriors 129-124

Damian Lillard set a franchise record in the NBA with 61 points as the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Golden State Warriors 129-124 on Monday night.

The 29-year-old also scored his career-best 11 3-pointers.

With 10 rebounds, Lillard also got his 10th double-double this season.

Hassan Whiteside had a double-double with 17 points and 21 rebounds for the Blazers.

Celtics blow out Lakers

The Boston Celtics routed the Los Angeles Lakers in a decisive 139-107 victory, improving to 28 wins and 14 losses

It was the Lakers' worst defeat of the season.

Jayson Tatum scored 27 points while Kemba Walker had 20 points to help Boston beat the top team in the Western Conference.

The Lakers are still a Western Conference-best with 34 wins and 9 losses.

Following this victory, the Celtics also snapped a three-game losing streak.
